I was moved by how effective, responsive, available and open to my instant need Nancy and Albert were. My urgency was their urgency. My concern theirs. They were like two angels on earth doing the work that a parent should never have to do themselves. My ability to function and be present for my other kids in my time of distress was really crucial.
